3 more doctors detained from Al-Falah University: NDTV
As the probe into the blast near Delhi's iconic Red Fort deepens, NDTV reports that investigators today took three more doctors from Faridabad's Al-Falah University into custody. The university has made headlines after three doctors linked to it came under the spotlight for their alleged involvement in terrorist activities, including yesterday's blast that claimed nine lives and left over 20 injured. Indian Express live updates on Bihar elections: 47.62% turnout till 1 pm

The voter turnout in the final and second phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections, was recorded to be 47.62 percent, as of 1 pm on Tuesday. Indian Express reports that this is slightly over 42.31 percent in Phase 1 of polling held on November 6 by this time. Polling began early today across 122 seats in Bihar, including Mithila, Kosi belt, western Bihar, Magadh, Angika and Seemanchal regions. US Senate passes funding bill as historic shutdown nears likely end, BBC reports
The US Senate has passed a crucial funding bill that could bring the longest government shutdown in history to an end within days, BBC reports. The bill passed in a 60-40 vote late on Monday, with nearly all Republicans joining eight Democrats who splintered from the party to approve it. The deal funds the government until the end of January. The report says the House of Representatives will now have to pass the bill before President Donald Trump can sign it into effect. Internet slams IFFI for selecting only male members as jury: Hindustan Times
The internet has slammed the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) for selecting only male jury members for the Indian Panorama section of the event, Hindustan Times reports. Taking to Instagram, IFFI shared a post unveiling its jury members. The 56th IFFI will take place in Goa. The internet didn't react kindly to the selection as it didn't feature any female members. Explosion injures eight outside court in Islamabad, police say: The Straits Times

An explosion injured at least eight people outside a court building in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad on Tuesday, a police spokesman said. The Straits Times reports that some of them are in critical condition. The blast occurred near the entrance of Islamabad’s district court, which is typically crowded with many litigants.
